We plan, You plant

Over the span of my career in this industry, I have created hundreds of landscape designs. At Gardenscapes By Hans, we recognize that some people would like to plant their own landscape but are seeking professional opinions and advice for what works best at their home.

Our "We plan, You plant" service allows you to do the planting from a design that we have created for you with your input. We will gather the plants for you from our growers and then deliver the plants and proper soil amendments to you. We will share planting tips and after-care instructions to help ensure the success of your new landscape.

Our designs are custom-created for each individual gardenscape. Designs are low-maintenance with a complimentary blend of colors and textures using flowering shrubs, evergreens, and perennial flowers. The comprehensive expertise of Gardenscapes By Hans delivers a design that optimizes and showcases the outstanding characteristics of each plant.

Maintenance

With more than 40 years of experience in the horticulture industry, Gardenscapes By Hans is qualified with the use of proper pruning techniques, fertilizing, and weed control to maintain the overall health and beauty of your landscape.

Spring/Fall Clean Up

Gardenscapes By Hans has extensive knowledge of understanding necessary seasonal maintenance. Keeping your landscaping essentials healthy includes preparing plants in the fall for the upcoming season by removing spent foliage that could harbor insects and diseases into the next season. Spring preparation includes cleaning up debris and fallen limbs as well as weed control, pruning, and fertilizing for the new growing season.

Disease and Pest Control

Integrated Pest Management (IPM) is utilized when Gardenscapes By Hans is on-site for your landscaping needs. The purpose of IPM is early identification and the resolution of pest issues with minimal risks to you and the environment.

Who will work on my landscape?

Being a multi-generational family-owned and operated business, we personally follow each project through from start to finish. We are committed to building trusting relationships through courteous and effective communication while providing exceptional service. Every interaction with Gardenscapes By Hans is with a Groff family member. Hans is present for each project and performs all services.

Are you insured and licensed?

We have all necessary licenses and insurance for all of our projects, and we are classified as an LLC.

We implement all aspects of landscaping, but our specialty is in mixing perennials, shrubs, and trees to create a gardenscape of year-round interest that complements your vision and fits the ecology of our area.
